I have been practicing massage therapy since June of 2008 and particularly enjoy seeing the positive changes in the lives of my clients. Since June of 2009, I have had the opportunity to volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital's Cancer Center in Bellingham, giving massage to people undergoing radiation and chemotherapy treatment. The experiences that I've had at the cancer center have shown me how massage can positively effect a person undergoing cancer treatment and has inspired me to continue my education in oncology massage.
I have a BA in Fabrics and Fibers Art from WWU and went on to get my Massage Therapy Certification from Port Townsend School of Massage in 2008. I am licensed by the state of Washington and insured through the American Massage Therapy Association.
Other than massage therapy, I have a passion for art, the outdoors, gardening, laughing, running and biking. We live in a beautiful corner of the world with so many amazing places to explore around town, in the mountains and in the islands.
